If you’ve been following me on my instagram and keeping up to date, you would have known I made a huge announcement that the 351 Digital brand will be undergoing a complete rebrand.
This may or may not come to a shock to a lot of you because it’s something has been in the works for the longest time.
To give you a little bit of a back story, the name “351 Digital” came about because the numbers were the last 3 digits of my home postal code. Which is where I started my business. I started my business back in 2018 during my final semester of University before graduating.
I knew I always wanted to start a business, but never found out my “why” yet, and I knew I had a lot of inner work to do, if it meant reaching out to a business coach that could help me nail my solid brand foundation.
The first year of my business was all about working on mindset, brand strategy, foundation and all the good stuff. These things that a lot of first time business owners like myself would think that it takes a few months to nail down, but in fact the first entire year of my business was not only focused on nailing a solid brand foundation but nailing the sales, marketing, lead generation and was a lot of trial and error.

So why the rebrand you ask? The answer is simple, the business name no longer resonated with me. To speak Marie Kondo’s words here, it no longer sparked joy. Every time people would ask me, what my business was about? I said the words “351 digital” , it no longer felt natural to say it, it no longer felt something I felt comfortable to say, in a way it felt weird to say?
351 Digital had already undergone a rebrand in terms of colours and brand identity once with my talented friend and one of our design partners , Nicole from JanuryMadeDesign , there is absolutely nothing wrong with the current branding at all.
I kept feeling this tear and pull away from the brand, and something no longer ignited that spark in me but I never knew it was my brand name. I started to think to myself, how can I work around my brand name without spending the money to rebrand? The more I reflected about it over the past few weeks, I suddenly came to realise the answer was right in front of me the entire time, I just couldn’t see it for myself yet.
There have been a lot of struggles behind the scenes with finding my own true identity and a lot of inner struggles within me as a business owner in terms of mindset, I knew that wasn’t the case because everything was perfect, but something, somewhere didn’t align up with my current content.
That’s when I knew it was time to rebrand. I started to look at the list of designers that I follow on instagram, and I knew Jess from J.Avolio specialises in minimalistic and custom illustrations for her branding. I’m really excited to announce that Jess and I will be working together to rebrand for the next month.

You can expect the new brand to be coming soon in May 2020! The rebranding project starts this coming Monday and I’m so excited to get started with this journey. I’ve grown so much as a business owner, as a person throughout these 2 years.
351 Digital Consultancy will always be a huge part of my life, it always has been. One of the biggest parts of my life that has taught me so many valuable lessons that money cannot buy. I won’t be revealing the new brand name to keep it in the works until launch day. But the website will remain the same, except for the change of the new brand colours, logo etc.
What can you expect from the rebrand? The rebrand will reflect who I am as a business owner now, you can expect something more refined, modern and I know you guys are going to love it!
